I have been a professional photographer and videographer for three years, but have been interested in the profession since I was 12. From a young age, I gained my love for art through the dance community. Dance has allowed me to explore the importance of fluidity, body-awareness, and angles which directly translates into my photography style. Expressing my creativity has always been a passion of mine whether it was through music, photography, videography, or dance. As an artist, I believe that I continuously learn from my peers, through life experience and opportunities. An important value of mine as a photographer is to create a comfortable and judgement-free space for others. Having experienced the vulnerability that comes with performing as a dancer, I understand that it is not always easy for others to feel safe and accepted in front of a camera. While working with me, I aim to create strong relationships with clients, fostering trust and open communication. Additionally, being able to find the most natural way to position and help the model feel as comfortable and confident as possible comes much easier. By using my knowledge of movement and visual aesthetics, this allows me to create these beautiful images.
In addition to photography and dance, I am also attending school at the Toronto Metropolitan University for Child and Youth Care. I have a passion for working with youth as well as providing therapeutic services for all. I intend to continue speaking up and advocating for those who may be unable to advocate for themselves.
